A cool idea

I recently remembered something that we did in Incarnation, for raising money. I remembered it when I thought about the fruit bursts wrapper game where you have to make a string of wrappers, longest string wins. Well, in America, we had a coin donating game, where we saved up pennies [obviously we can't do pennies here] for about a term, and at the end of the term, we would line up all the pennies donated from each class across the mess hall/lunchroom, with each penny touching the next one. The class with the longest string of pennies would win a prize or something I can't remember. What I do remember is that we had a box, and each student would take a few pennies and put them next to each other, then keep getting more until all the pennies were gone. It was very noisy but it was also quite fun. I think since our class was relatively big, we came 3rd or 4th or something but I can't remember. And the principal made a speech and announced the winner/s and yeah. Lots of fun, we must have raised about....................... 3 or 4 hundred dollars in the end. So yeah.

Book groups

I think that the book groups went relatively well this term. Things that went well were [which is a full house, 2 T's and 3 W's :)] people got along pretty well and most people read they're amount in time. I think things that could go differently next time is as soon as people unlock crackers/snacks they focus more on that than the actual book. What I learnt from the experience was that talking about what you're reading can help you understand it more. Like sometimes I read something and I'm not paying attention and I think the character is a boy when it is actually a girl! But talking about helped me understand it more.

2nd win in a row!!!!

We just played our final basketball game for the term tonight, and we won!!!!!! It was against a really good year 7 raroa team, and we beat them 29-11!!! They played really well, and we both gave away a lot of fouls, but every once in a while they would 'let down their guard' as I would put it, and we would score, like, 10 points. Especially in the first half, they were warming up then. And I got a hat trick!!!! First a layup, then we intercepted their throw in, Nicole passed me the ball and I scored a jump shot, then we got the ball again, Joseph made a fail as shot, I got the rebound and scored another layup. Pretty boss. And earlier, the first time I touched the ball, I scored an epic jump shot from at least 6 feet away, and it was a swish. I scored at least half the team's points. I'm also very modest :D
Oh yeah, and let me just say that PJ was a great coach and that is, um, sort of why we won, I guess. He, um, didn't really do that much..............

I'm just kidding, you were really awesome PJ, keep it up. BTW, here's a photo you might enjoy PJ :D
The chain says it all.

This is what the court would look like in Minecraft; and, you guessed it, I made this ALL by myself :D

Science fair! :0

The science fair is in a week now! I've painted my background and typed everything, I just need to put the stuff onto it. Just keeping you posted. :)

The glitch

I died on Hunger games, but for some reason, I kept my golden apple and then I was eating it without it touching my mouth. Like a Boss.
Look, the crumb has a face! :D

Something you might not know about me.

In America, I used to go to this school called Incarnation, and it was really weird in some ways. For lunch, we got to go outside for 5 minutes and then sit down in a mess hall and eat for 45 minutes. The weirdest thing was, there was this stoplight, and if we were talking to loud, it would flash red, if we were fine, it would flash green, and if we were on the brink, it would flash yellow.

Another weird thing was, that if we were on a field trip, on a bus, and we came to a red light, EVERYONE would have to stop talking. I'm not sure why, but I think it was because if an ambulance or a police car drove by, the driver would have to hear the siren or something like that. But how would you NOT hear a siren? Stupid. The other stupid thing was we had 7 hours of school, but only 20 minutes of outside play. While here, we have 6 hours and 1 hour and 15 minutes outside play, which is WAY better. And, like I said earlier, we had to sit down and eat lunch for 45 minutes, even though I finished in about 10. But the education was good, so yeah.
